Description My client is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to work out of their Mclean, VA office. They are based in the entertainment industry and looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join their team. The ideal Senior Staff Accountant candidate selected for this position will prepare the financial statements, oversee general ledger accounts, assist with the month-end closing, work with the supervisor on the budgeting process, ensure the company is in compliance with internal controls and maintain the financial statements. Daily responsibilities of the Senior Staff Accountant include: · Preparation of financial statements. · Reconcile bank statements. · General ledger maintenance. · Ensure internal controls in compliance. · Assist with month-end close. Requirements The ideal Senior Staff Accountant we seek must have the following qualifications for consideration: · 3+ years of public accounting experience. · Licensed CPA or pursuing CPA. · Proficient with Microsoft excel. · Strong communication skills.
