Description Senior Staff Accountant, Manufacturer We are looking for a motivated Senior Staff Accountant to join our client's team in Norwalk, Connecticut. Responsibilities + Perform month-end close (ME) activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting. + Conduct bank reconciliation statements to ensure accuracy and compliance. + Assist in streamlining accounting and operational processes and improving current workflows. + Provide support for the preparation of financial statements and reporting deliverables. + Work with the team to maintain accurate records and compliance with accounting standards. + Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper accounting procedures are followed. + Offer support in ERP system utilization and, if experienced, assist in system improvement or implementation tasks. Requirements + Strong knowledge of account reconciliation, journal entries, and general ledger processes. + Proficiency in bank reconciliations and balance sheet management. + Familiarity with NetSuite or comparable accounting software. Benefits Annual performance-based bonus: 5% of salary. Company performance-based bonus: Additional 5% of salary. Holiday Bonus: Up to $6,000 at the discretion of management (based on precedent over the last two years). Retirement Plan & Profit Sharing: 10%-12% of salary contributed to a profit-sharing plan yearly after one year of service (vesting period of six years). Time Off: 20 PTO days annually.
