We are seeking a Senior SQL & .NET Backend Architect to lead the modernization of our monolithic SQL Server environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem, specializing in deconstructing legacy database structures and wrapping them in high-performance, Azure-hosted web services
Key Responsibilities
Modernization: Deconstruct SQL Server monoliths into modular schemas using Azure SQL Managed Instance.Service Development: Design and build scalable REST APIs and Microservices to replace legacy direct-to-db logic.Refactoring: Transition complex business logic from Stored Procedures into maintainable middle-tier .NET code.DevOps: Automate database and application deployments using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.QualificationsMandatory Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related Engineering field.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in database architectureExperience: minimum of 3 years of professional experience in building APIs connected to SQL Server database.Technical Requirements
