Join ASML’s Observability team within the Automation, Monitoring & Observability ART and help shape the future of IT intelligence. As a Senior Splunk Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and implementing cutting-edge observability solutions that empower our IT Workload teams to achieve operational excellence, compliance, and cost efficiency.

Role and responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Lead the architecture and deployment of Splunk platforms across ASML’s enterprise landscape.Onboard and normalize diverse data sources, ensuring high-quality, scalable observability.Build intuitive dashboards and visualizations that drive real-time decision-making.Implement and optimize Splunk ITSI, Service Analyzer, and advanced observability use cases using MLTK and AI-powered features.Collaborate with security teams to integrate Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) into operational workflows.Develop proactive monitoring and anomaly detection strategies to enhance service reliability.Ensure all configurations and deployments align with GitOps, Config-as-Code, and Infra-as-Code principles.Actively participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration.Mentor junior engineers and serve as a technical thought leader across the organization.

Education and experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.5+ years of hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise in large-scale environments.Proven expertise in:Splunk ITSI and Service Analyzer implementation.MLTK, AI-driven observability, and predictive analytics.Advanced dashboard design and alerting strategies.Data onboarding and schema optimization.Familiarity with Splunk ES integrations.Strong background in Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.Experience working in SAFe Agile and Scrum-based delivery teams.
