Candidate should be well versed in Outside Plant design, development and long-range planning aspects of the industry. The position is located on Oahu, Hawaii.
AT&T has an opening for a Senior Specialist OSP Planning Engineer Design to plan, design, and analyze network components and infrastructure for both Wireline and Wireless systems, providing strategic short- and long-term planning, solution recommendations, and implementation to achieve technology goals.
**Job Duties/Responsibilities:**
+ **Key Roles and Responsibilities:** Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
+ **Network Design and Planning:** Develop network layouts, ensure compliance, conduct feasibility studies, recommend strategic network planning and customer recommendations for network capacity and performance criteria.
+ **Cost Estimation and Budgeting:** Prepare cost estimates, and create economic deliverables such as Plans of Record, Forecasts, and Utility Agreements.
+ **Documentation and Reporting:** Maintain documentation, generate reports, develop technical documentation, and create deliverables including Plans of Record, Forecasts, Serving Plans, Use Permits, Handoffs, Workprints, and Utility Agreements.
+ **Technical Proficiency and Leadership:** Demonstrate sound technical knowledge, mentor peers and new hires, resolve complex problems, provide training, and promote knowledge sharing.
+ **Implementation and Strategy Development:** Develop and implement strategies to accommodate network growth and change, ensuring alignment with corporate initiatives, customer demand, technology changes, and service reliability criteria.

**Required Qualifications:**
Ten years plus working in the Outside Plant industry doing Fielding survey, design work and customer requirement solutions. Confined Space certified; First Aid/AED/CPR certified.
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ College Degree, Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering.

Our Senior Specialist OSP Planning Engineer Design's earn between $61,600 - $125,000. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
