Job Dimensions (role and responsibilities):
The Census Management Team Lead will coordinate operational activities and ensure successful completion of all tasks related to a census/endorsement process. This includes managing teams, resources, timelines, ensuring data quality and compliance with legal and organizational standards. The position ensures timely service delivery with regulatory compliance.
+ Be responsible for the processing of all policy data and endorsements, ensuring changes are accurately detailed and implemented
+ Coordinate with underwriters/TPAs, policy administration and customer service teams to address endorsement requests efficiently
+ Ensure all endorsements are processed within agreed timelines and meet quality standards
+ Discover ways to simplify endorsement procedures and implement guidelines
+ Collaborate with IT and process teams to automate or improve endorsement workflows
+ Work closely with and coordinate activities across PMO, operations and service delivery functions
+ Work with operations leadership in the development of solutions in line with strategy.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
+ Ensure all endorsement activities align with regulatory requirements and internal policies
+ Conduct regular audits and quality checks on processed endorsements
+ Implementation of quality tools and automation processes
Reporting & Analysis
+ Prepare regular reports on endorsement volumes, turnaround times, and quality metrics
+ Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement
+ Manage operations business planning and performance reporting.
Skills and Attitude
+ Proven experience in large-scale project or operations management, ideally in census or survey contexts
+ Familiarity with data collection and processing methodologies/ Data management systems
+ Understanding employee benefits insurance products and claims processes.
+ Knowledge and experience in project management, statistics or a related field
+ Strong leadership and management skills.
+ Excellent organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
+ Ability to adapt to change and embrace new technologies.
+ Knowledge of IRDAI regulations and compliance standards.
+ Strong communication and coordination skills.
