Senior Specialist Digitalization| Digital Product Owner

 

Objectives of the Position

 

The Digital Product Owner Channel Solutions will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of digital products aimed at enhancing distribution channel engagement. This includes managing a track’n’trace solution and retailer loyalty app as well as an online ordering portal for distributors.Guide the product team or vendors in developing features that meet business needs and customer expectations.Serve as the interface between business users and IT, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals.Focus on value creation of products for business, driving growth and enhancing customer satisfaction.

 

 

Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities

 

As a product owner, lead the development and implementation of digital solutions for retailers that allow, among others, the execution of loyalty programs and traceability of stock in the distribution channel. Oversee the regional implementation of global digital tools for direct customer/distributor engagement such as online ordering portals or general customer portals. Build strategic challenges, opportunities & threats of channel partners from country teamsCollaborate closely with local business teams to drive implementation and requirements gathering as well as building understanding of challenges, opportunities & threats of channel partners from business teams to derive the direction of future developments.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including commercial, IT and other functions to ensure seamless integration and functionality of digital products.Define and prioritize product features and requirements based on business needs and customer feedback.Develop and maintain product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Budget spending for each digital product and ensure staying within budget.Monitor and analyze product performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize user experience and achieve business goals.Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on product development and performance.Organize user training and drive adoption of digital products through local business teamsEnsure compliance with industry standards and best practices in digital product management.

 

 

Requirements

 

Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, IT, Agronomy or a related field

 

Working Experience

Min 5 years working experience in Sales & Marketing/Digital Marketing role Experience in Agchem industry or experience as product manager is a plusWork experience in leading and managing successful projects and/or commercial teams. Has proven his/her ability to structure initiatives and get others to follow and execute his/her ideas

 

Preferred Skills

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Knowledge of the agricultural industry and farmer engagement strategies is a plus.Experience in Digital Marketing is a plusExperience with agile methodologies and product management frameworks.Familiarity with user experience (UX) design principles and best practices.
