What You'll Do
Ensure BCG secures the lowest logical fares through approved Travel Management Companies (TMCs) while maintaining policy compliance and traveler satisfaction.Manage and compare fare options, negotiate with airlines when required, and communicate ticketing, routing, and approval details clearly to bookers and EAs.Oversee end-to-end travel operations, including visa processing support, documentation coordination, and adherence to travel compliance requirements.Utilize data analytics to monitor travel spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide insights to support strategic business decisions.Collaborate with internal stakeholders and global teams on technology and strategic initiatives to enhance automation, efficiency, and traveler experience.Lead stakeholder management across business units, TMCs, and airline partners to ensure seamless coordination and service excellence.Manage crisis situations such as travel disruptions, ensuring proactive communication, traveler safety, and timely issue resolution.Continuously review and enhance travel policies, systems, and processes, supporting change management and cost optimization projects to strengthen the corporate travel function.What You'll Bring
Experienced professional in corporate travel management with strong operational, strategic, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
Deep expertise in travel operations, vendor management, contracting, and cost optimization across multiple travel categories.
Strong domain knowledge in ticketing, fare construction, itinerary planning, and end-to-end quality assurance of travel bookings.
Proven negotiation and vendor-relationship skills, ensuring optimal terms, service delivery, and compliance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a professional, customer-centric, and service-oriented approach.
Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and online booking tools; familiarity with BTA checks and reconciliation preferred.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong process, project-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrates tact, composure, and flexibility in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations while upholding confidentiality and ethical standards.
Proactive, resilient, and disciplined with follow-ups, ensuring timely closure of tasks and adherence to deadlines.
Who You'll Work With
This role is part of BCG’s Travel Operations Team and is primarily responsible for managing all travel-related operations. The Specialist will focus on ensuring seamless travel services, operational excellence, and superior traveler support within the region.
Given BCG’s travel-intensive environment, where mobility is integral to delivering client impact globally, this role plays a key part in maintaining service quality and efficiency. The Specialist will oversee the day-to-day governance of travel agency partners, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery as per agreed KPI to BCG travelers.
Additionally, the role will collaborate closely with Travel Manager to strengthen travel governance, enhance employee experience, and support connectivity and culture within BCG’s India offices.
