Senior Specialist – IT Product Management

Marsh & McLennan Shared Services LLC is seeking candidates for the following full-time position based in the Dallas, TX office (A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with company policies.):
 

                              Senior Specialist – IT Product Management

We will count on you to:

Execute technical proof of concepts, technical design and troubleshooting of new and existing applications. Prepare system requirements for enhancing US salesforce and CRM applications including other scheduling, reporting, and chat tools. Work closely with the architect team, IT Developers, business users and IT managers to understand challenges and develop technical solutions. Translate business and functional requirements into detailed technical specifications. Provide general application support to resolve functional and technical issues. Investigate new technology solutions to work with security and infrastructure teams to initiate and do a technical proof of concepts. Collaborate with the development team to create technical specifications, including identification of data elements, data mapping, and recommendations for system flow and coding approach. Investigate, triage, diagnose and resolve complex application issues. Manage technical implementations and deployments for Customer Engagement projects across multiple product lines. Provide insight into the technical direction of the application and provide input to the technical roadmap. Manage upgrades to various supporting systems by creating change orders and coordinating with the Operations Support team. Provide an IT interface to business units to analyze and build relevant artifacts such as technical design and specifications. Engage in discussions with users to capture issues and exceptions in various ways including prototypes, discovery sessions, calls, meetings, and workshops. Execute company processes for ordering hardware, Software, info security approvals, cloud approvals, and gathering technical expertise for solutions and coordination of delivery. Facilitate meetings, create agendas, and publish notes. Coordinate with project managers on scope, time, and sizing estimates. Direct the work being completed by the technical team. Act as the point of contact for any technical questions from the development team that may need business or technical input.

What you need to have: 

Bachelor’s degree or a foreign equivalent in Business Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field, plus five (5) years of progressively responsible postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered, or as a Customer Engagement Systems Analyst, Software Developer/Administrator, Systems Analyst or a related position. Must have five (5) years of experience with all of the following: Overseeing and managing enterprise-level IT projects through all phases of the System Development Life Cycle using Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies; Administering and customizing enterprise tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and TFS to ensure seamless project tracking and collaboration across cross-functional teams; Designing and implementing enterprise security frameworks by managing Active Directory, role-based access controls, and IT compliance audits; Performing Salesforce administration and customization, including managing user roles, profiles, permissions, and automating processes using workflows and APEX; Leading system migrations and upgrades, including server and cloud environments (AWS, Azure), ensuring minimal downtime and compliance with SLA requirements; Configuring and optimizing enterprise telecommunication systems, including CTI/IVR and live agent integrations, to streamline customer engagement workflows; Conducting risk assessments and implementing disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity and data integrity across IT systems; Developing and maintaining IT budgets, vendor contracts, and resource allocation plans to align with organizational goals and project timelines; Troubleshooting and resolving complex system application issues across diverse platforms, ensuring uptime and reliability for end-users; and Collaborating with stakeholders to define IT strategies and roadmaps that align with organizational objectives and evolving technology landscapes. Certification requirements: Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant; Salesforce Platform App Builder; and Salesforce Administrator. Travel reqt: 10% domestic and international travel is required to various and unanticipated company and client sites.
