Zinia leverages the technological resources and expertise of Openbank, the digital-native bank of the Santander Group, which is currently rolling out its international expansion plans. Through a simple and flexible banking model, Openbank offers customers the possibility to manage their finances on the website or app.

Mission and responsibilities: 

As a member of the credit & risk department, the candidate will join the processes and operations team at Openbank, the digital bank of Santander Group, particulary in the Credit & Risk deparment. The main responsibility is to ensure that processes and operational tasks are complete, efficient, automated, controlled, and customer-oriented.

The main tasks of this role will be the following:

-Lead and coordinate the preparation, validation, and delivery of data and documentation for loan portfolio sale transactions
- Coordinate with internal areas (Risk, Legal, Finance, IT) and external servicers to ensure proper execution of the transaction
-Conduct post-sale follow-up: reconciliations, reporting, document transfers, and buyer information requests
-Supervise early-stage and late-stage collections activities, ensuring full compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
-Manage escalated or complex cases, ensuring full traceability and correct documentation
-Coordinate with the Legal department and insolvency administrators to ensure the bank’s correct representation. 
- Develop and maintain KPIs, SLAs, and executive reporting for management.
-Ensure traceability across all processes and proper audit documentation.
-Identify and implement improvements in efficiency, automation, and operational risk reduction
- Change management; preparation of documentation, ability to transfer knowledge to BBOO users -through training sessions-
- Strong ownership behaviour and proactive attitude
- Previous experience in Operations Backoffice is desirable

To be successful in the role you must have: 

- +5 years of experience in this field.

- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/analytical field, such as engineering or mathematics.

- Strong Knowledge of SQL
- Advanced Excel
- JIRA, Confluence desirable
- Strong knowledge on Credit Risk

- Fluent english & spanish
