Senior Specialist, Customer Experience- Bioskills Lab

The Customer Experience Specialist on Stryker's Instruments Engagement team coordinates and executes the logistics of best-in-class customer experiences for healthcare professionals at our facilities. In partnership with cross-functional teams, this role will manage internal communication, scheduling, reservations, catering, signage, and equipment for customer visits. Additionally, this role will provide day of support in the Bioskills Lab.

This is an onsite position in our 1941 building in Michigan

What you will do

Oversee the event planning process for customer experience visits at Instruments sites by partnering with internal teams to meet or exceed established event goals. Sites are located in Michigan, Colorado and California.

Facilitate the sharing of information between onsite event leads and internal Styker teams such as Facilities, Catering, Front Desk, 1941 Express Car Service, and Information Services and Security.

Provide high quality onsite support for customer visits and labs within the Customer Experience Center and other meeting locations within the Instruments building. Some programs may require, early starts and evening work.

Collaborate and maintain relationships with cross-functional Stryker teams, including Marketing, Sales, R&D and Medical Education

Maintain program and facility data to report out on utilization, highlights, and business impact.

Perform administrative tasks, including catering requests, car service scheduling, and expense reconciliation

Maintain appropriate Customer Experience collateral materials, such as building signage, connect page, agendas, and event request documents in accordance with Stryker branding guidelines.

Provide onsite support as needed for events within the Customer Experience Center outside of traditional customer visits, including R&D, Business Development, and Medical Education programs.

Remains up to date on necessary employee compliance and safety trainings, and facilitates the sharing of information to onsite participants.

Understand our budgeting process and work within budgets set by event leads.

Assists with lab inventory management.

Act in the best interest of Stryker, reflecting the values of teamwork, collaboration, and mutual respect.

What you will need

Required

Bachelor’s degree

2+ year of work experience

Comfort working in a cadaveric lab environment

Experience supporting Medical Education programs and/or working in a clinical or hospital environment

Experience in event planning, hospitality, or customer experience

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage simultaneous events and lab programs

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse audiences

Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional, regulated environments

Flexibility to support variable schedules tied to customer programs (early mornings / occasional evenings)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Teams, and SharePoint

Preferred

Experience working in a cadaveric lab environment

Hands-on lab setup and teardown, including working directly with medical products

Prior experience in a clinical, hospital, cadaveric lab, or medical device setting

Familiarity with medical devices, surgical instruments, or procedural environments

Experience supporting live educational events or customer training programs

Exposure to budgeting, logistics coordination, or operational reporting
