The **Senior Global Sourcing Manager for our Ceiling Fan product category** will be responsible for leading category level sourcing strategy development and execution; developing and managing global supply base to meet OB business growth needs! The Sr Global Sourcing Manager will be leading category level global supply base development and expansion to meet OB (Own Brand) product development needs, improving supplier diversification, implementing OPCO (Operating Company) integration, leading supplier onboarding, driving global suppliers’ performance management, optimizing OB product total landing cost, identifying and developing new materials and technologies, ensuring supply capacity, managing continuous of supply, and improving overall quality compliance. Location: This role is approved to be Remote anywhere in the US. **Primary Responsibilities** + Lead execution of global sourcing and supplier development strategic indicatives to support OB global souring needs. + Understand and define key product cost structure, identify cost savings opportunities, and lead cost optimization projects execution. + Lead category related supplier exploration, qualification, onboarding and contract negotiation and execution. + Lead implementation of all global related new and existing product development and sourcing projects and ensure success execution of product development pipeline. + Support OPCO integration related complex projects and collaborate closely with OPCO functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of the integration plan. + Support key global customers and accounts in country activities. + Establish and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing global suppliers. + Support global sourcing and business operational process development and optimization. + Lead supplier scorecard evaluation and coordinate supplier business reviews. + Complete complex multiple-functional special projects. + Manage category related supplier performance and facilitate supplier related issue/problem resolution. + Ensure continues of supply for assigned categories and collaborate closely with procurement team and global supply chain team to meet inventory optimization goals. + Provide inputs into the annual budget and work within the guidelines of approved budget throughout the fiscal year. + Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective. **Preferred Experience and Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred and /or equivalent experience will be considered. + A minimum of ten (10) years of sourcing, product development, design/engineering, material and commodity management, supply chain related experience is preferred. + Strong technical understanding of ceiling fan manufacturing and components and ceiling fan product construction, motor technology (AC, DC, BLDC), finishes, lighting integration, and compliance requirements (UL, ETL, Energy Star, etc.) + Be able to travel in Global regions. + Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (MS 0365, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Power BI) At Ferguson, we care for each other.
