Amazon Games is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join us as we build exciting new mass market games with a multiplayer component. This role will help establish an entirely new category for gaming and should be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity that’s higher than most projects. In this role, you’ll solve deep technical problems, build innovative solutions, and work with top notch software developers and game developers. The ideal Solution Architect has strong communication skills and a solid understanding of a variety of technology platforms, which they use as they work with external developers to explain, educate and implement game technologies and help drive complex integrations. They also should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.

Key job responsibilities
* Be part of a multi-disciplinary brain trust and work closely with external developers to build and launch great original games.
* Partner with the game development teams as their technical point of contact, driving resolution to issues and eliminating redundant processes by acting as their liaison between customers, engineering and other internal teams.
* Develop and direct game development teams to triage issues and overcome roadblocks, review deliverables and suggest improvements, and educate/transfer knowledge on using Amazon Game integrations to ensure delivery on time and at the highest quality,
* Partner with the internal creative team to quickly explore and prototype ideas and iterate through playtesting and player feedback.
* Lead deep architectural discussions to build confidence and ensure customer success when building new integration within game architecture.
* Remain up to date with products and services across the game industry, and also within Amazon, Twitch.
* Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the Solutions Architect community.
* Work with designers, engineers and artists to refine our workflows and improve our tooling.
