Your ‘day to day’:
As a Senior Solution Architect – Data and AI, you will contribute to the evolution of our company-wide data, AI, and analytics platform, which serves central teams and markets. This role is pivotal in shaping the architecture of our next-generation data platform leveraging AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, and cutting-edge AI technologies. As part of the Data Platform Architecture team, you will play a key role in defining and delivering scalable, high-performance solutions that empower our data and AI initiatives across the organization.
Shape the technology vision and roadmap for the data and AI platform in alignment with business goals and emerging trends.Design end-to-end architecture and solution design for data and AI platform.Develop and enforce architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks to ensure secure, compliant, and high-performance solutions.Create and maintain capability models, reference architectures, and blueprints to guide current and future-state implementations.Partner with enterprise and domain architects, product owners, and engineering teams to ensure architectural alignment and successful implementation of architectural solutions.Align data platform designs with enterprise architecture principles and long-term strategies.Evaluate emerging technologies, lead proof-of-concepts, and pilot initiatives to continuously evolve the platform.Mentor solution architects and engineering teams, and oversee architectural decisions for large-scale initiatives.Contribute to estimation of timelines, resources, and budgets for architecture initiatives.
Who we’re looking for:
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.Commutable distance to Tampa, FL.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.10+ years of experience in architecting scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-based data and AI solutions and platforms, delivering centralized capabilities.Demonstrated success in digital transformation initiatives within regulated environments.Extensive hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure preferred), Lakehouse, data warehouse and AI/ML architecture.Expertise in designing modern data platforms using Databricks or Snowflake.Proficiency with relational databases, NoSQL databases, and graph databases.Strong ability to define technology roadmaps, align with business objectives, and deliver actionable guidance.Solid understanding and experience with BI tools such as Power BI and metadata management tools such as Atlan, Collibra, etc.Familiarity with Generative and Agentic AI capabilities, patterns, and technology stacks, including emerging trends.
Annual Base Salary Range: $136,000 - $170,000
