Job Description

Senior Solution Architect (Individual contributor)

You will report to: Technical Director

Work Model: Remote

Location: Monterrey, Nuevo Leon

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will help lead a range of activities to lead the transformation of the product lifecycle management capabilities for some of the largest and most well-known companies and brands. The work is demanding, and provides unparalleled exposure to unique opportunities. Our focus is on helping clients extract value from software solutions, not just on making the technology work.

You will work with partners to lead the technical implementation across line planning, material and color management, technical design, product development and sourcing capabilities and the integration to adjacent functions within the landscape. You will span the project lifecycle including early assessment, implementation planning, solution technical design, solution confirmation and development, testing, data migration and post go-live support.

Responsibilities:

Achieve a balance between meeting client obligations, supporting their needs, and being an ambassador.Guide the solution of large business and technical problems.Contribute in the project delivery for complex programs by assisting with the allocation of tasks to team members and management of progress. This includes tracking of team activities and reporting usage of effort. Additionally, provide oversight and coaching to ensure project delivery remains within specified scope, on time and on budget.Support process design, solution design, system validation, training, and deployment.Train client personnel in PLM concepts and PLM software tool capabilities and functionality.Perform data conversion design/loading activities.Help design custom reports and queries.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.We require legal authorization to work in Mexico. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.Willingness to travel international and domestic up to 20%.We also ask that you have that you have 8 years of experience in design, configuration, and customization of software solution to incorporate new business processes.Experience developing customization and configuration, including SSPs and JSP Overrides. I have also developed Query Plugins, Type Manager, and Query Builder. Additionally, I have experience with TRC (ThingWorx Retail Connector), and Custom and OOTB Loaders. Finally, I have worked with FlexPLM data model.Experience with FlexPLM Upgrade, installation and server administration.Knowledge of Software solution capabilities such as Line Planning, Product Management and Specification Management.Experience with PTC Windchill PLM or PTC FlexPLM, or 2 – 4 years of work experience in the fields of New Product Introduction, Product Development, or Project and Portfolio Management working for a Retailer.Experience working with the following: Java/J2EE, SQL, XML, and Web Service Integrations.Knowledge of the packaged solution PTC FlexPLM an ability to distinguish Out-Of-the-Box behavior and customize the application.Experience with processing requirements and business process definitions, application design/configuration and integrated testing activities.Knowledge of product launch, cycle time reduction, application integration and collaborative innovation processes.Experience in medium to large PLM implementations in the RFA industry.Experience coding solutions using one of the programming languages above.
