If you are a **Senior Software Test** professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you in our Round Rock, TX office. This is a hands-on testing role working across all parts of the DeltaV MES platform. In this role, you will be responsible to test the design, build, and integrated software that is deployed to meet our customer needs. This role interacts closely with our Senior Developer, Senior Architect, Front End and Backend team members and should be able to provide technical direction and influence on complex or large testing efforts. This role provides support our existing clients on new features. Additional responsibilities include testing new features / enhancements, participating in architecture sessions with our senior engineers, and creating documentation for the software. You will also design and develop software tests that checks the integrations between DeltaV MES and other DeltaV systems. **IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL:** + Test software in collaborative fashion with software developers and testers. + Design, write and execute automated test cases using industry-standard frameworks and tools to ensure high quality software releases. + Help others make sense of what is relevant and what is unimportant when making sense of complex situations. + Foster a creative atmosphere and work with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Marketing to effectively support the development and test needs of the software. Participate in agile activities like sprint planning and retrospectives and share a passion for problem solving. + Ability to quickly understand and evaluate a complex and evolving software system. + Develop and implement test automation for DeltaV MES products + Provide technical leadership and support the creation of complex software tests. **WHO YOU ARE:** You figure out the processes necessary to get things done. You analyze multiple and diverse sources of information to define problems accurately before moving to solutions. **FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:** + BS in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or any STEM-related courses + **3+ years** of experience in software testing and quality assurance. + **2+ years** of experience with **Selenium WebDriver** and **unit test frameworks** (NUnit, xUnit or MSTest) for browser automation. + Experience standing up testing environments and troubleshooting configuration environment settings. + Demonstrate good communication skills + **Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future** + **Individuals with temporary visas such as E, F-1 (including those with OPT or CPT), H-1, H-2, L-1, B, J or TN, or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire.
