A Day in the LifeAs Senior Software Test Engineer at MEIC you will be a member of the Engineering R&D team working on the GUI software verification activities of medical devices. Works closely with other members of the engineering staff to provide technical solutions to engineering problems. You will participate in the creation of Test plan, Test cases, procedures, Test executions, Test report creations and other project artifacts.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Participates, as a member of software project or sub-project team(s), in the verification of software applications for product / test toolsAdheres to defined verification plans and procedures.Responsible for defining and implementing test strategies of medical devicesGenerates high-quality work products.Participate in review of requirements, development of test case/procedure and execution of test protocol activities and prepare plan documents and test reportsFunctions well in a team environment especially in agile environmentDemonstrates good documentation practices.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

BE/BTech computer Science, Electronics, Electrical with 8-12 years of Embedded software verification experience for safety critical systems.Debugging and TroubleshootingExperience in test automation framework (Squish and Pytest)Experience in setting up the testing environment for embedded systemsExperience in strong Python and shell script.Experience in defining the testing strategies for embedded softwareHands-on experience on GUI FrameworkWriting Test cases/Test Design (TD & TC),Test Suits, ExecutionExperience performing risk management analysis of software (e.g., SW FMEA).Familiar with C++ programming, GUI framework.Internationalization/Localization (Language Translation)Cross-compilation and Deployment to the embedded systemExperience in tools like JAMA, STASH/BITBUCKET/GIT/JIRA/CONFLUENCE/BAMBOOGood knowledge on agile principles and good experience in working in agile environmentFamiliar with docker
