Senior Software Technologist I
**Your role:**
* Lead a team of developers in the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-scale applications using Java, .NET Core, and Angular.
* Design and build microservices-based, cloud-native applications with strong focus on scalability, performance, and security.
* Define coding standards, design patterns, and best practices for multi-technology environments.
* Oversee integration of legacy systems (.NET Framework) into modern architectures.
* Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and product stakeholders to define and implement technical roadmaps and cloud migration strategies.
* Conduct code reviews, ensure test-driven development (TDD) practices, and maintain high-quality deliverables.
* Guide the team in CI/CD pipeline setup, DevOps practices and automation initiatives.
* Foster continuous learning and innovation within the team by staying up to date on new frameworks and tools.
* Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide hands-on support when needed.
* Participate in solution design reviews, estimation and technical documentation.
**You're the right fit if:**
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
10+ years of software development experience, including full-stack and cloud-native development.
* Proven hands-on expertise in both Java (Spring Boot) and .NET Core (C#).
* Strong experience with Angular (version 8 or higher), TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
* Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.
* Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Design, SOLID principles and design patterns.
* Experience in Cloud Platforms (preferably AWS) with practical exposure to cloud-native services.
* Solid understanding of containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
* Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch).
* Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions) and version control (Git).
* Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
* Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
**Preferred Skills:**
* Experience in multi-technology enterprise integration (Java ↔ .NET services).
* Knowledge of API Gateways, message queues and event-driven architectures.
* Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Azure AD).
* Understanding of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Bicep / CloudFormation).
* Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and cross-functional team leadership.
* Experience in performance optimisation and application security best practices.
