**Job Profile Summary:**
The Software Systems Manager 70 is responsible for championing innovative solutions to drive organizational growth, governing software development projects from planning to execution, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and authorizing resource allocation for optimal project outcomes. The role constructs and deploys complex system infrastructures, coordinating efforts to deliver robust and scalable solutions that meet enterprise-wide needs. The role defines best practices and standards for software development lifecycle (SDLC) and fosters a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the department. The role provides strategic direction for system maintenance and enhancement activities and oversees the implementation of upgrades and optimizations to improve system performance and reliability.
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Strategizes software requirement, solution and system design initiatives to align with long-term business objectives and technological advancements, championing innovative solutions to drive organizational growth.
+ Governs software development projects, overseeing all phases from planning to execution, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and authorizing resource allocation for optimal project outcomes.
+ Leads cross-functional teams to construct and deploy complex system infrastructures, coordinating efforts to deliver robust and scalable solutions that meet enterprise-wide needs.
+ Defines best practices and standards for software development and maintenance, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the department.
+ Empowers and mentors junior team members, providing guidance and coaching to enhance their skills and professional development, while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
+ Oversees compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, conducting regular evaluations to ensure adherence and mitigate risks effectively.
+ Provides strategic direction for software maintenance and enhancement activities, overseeing the implementation of upgrades and optimizations to improve software performance and reliability.
+ Reviews and responds to complex technical issues and challenges, leveraging expertise to identify root causes and formulate effective solutions in a timely manner.
+ Participates in executive-level meetings and discussions, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership regarding technology investments, resource allocation, and strategic initiatives.
+ Manages talent across the team, while driving employee selection, performance management, compensation management, career development, and ensuring effective operational management.
**Minimum Required Qualifications:**
Education:
+ Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience:
+ Minimum 5 years of experience with Bachelor's OR Minimum 3 years of experience with Master's in areas such as Software Architecture, Software Design or equivalent.
