Main Responsibilities

Create, define, and maintain formal subsystem‑level software requirements.Analyze system requirements, user needs, and system designs; collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to gather, refine, and validate requirements.Take ownership of assigned features or updates, including planning work, coordinating with team members, communicating progress, and aligning activities with project leads.Lead and contribute to technical discussions and design reviews related to assigned features.Support investigation of proposed new features by assessing technical risk, implementation complexity, and development effort.Develop deep subject‑matter expertise in assigned areas, enabling effective support of development and verification teams and participation in systems engineering discussions related to new features and defect investigations.

Key Skills for Success in This Role

Requirements Management Experience:
3+ years of experience managing system, software, firmware, or related requirements, including the use of tools such as IBM DOORS or equivalent.Requirements Elicitation and Analysis:
Strong ability to elicit, analyze, and document requirements by engaging with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams.Clear Communication:

This position is for in-person and on-site work at the Abbott facility in Sylmar California.

The base pay for this position is $90,000.00 – $180,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
