Job Description

The Senior Software QA Test Engineer is a hands-on position responsible for leading projects, designing/developing test cases and conducting tests on multiple platforms. You will:

Use test plans to incorporate automation tests as part of the build processMobile, Web and Desktop testing experience including test planning, execution and reporting product status to deliver a high quality software productCreate test plans following the test strategy, and analyzing system designDesign, document and execute test automation frameworkCommunicate test results and issues to technical and non-technical team membersMentor Test Engineers and Vendors on team to increase the skill of othersExperience working in an Agile development environment. Work design process into Agile methodologyTechnical knowledge and experience to maximize opportunities and constraints of different platforms/code basesWork within Agile project teams, continuously releasing application software and support of continuous integration processesCoordinate integrated testing activitiesDevelop, prepare and executes comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systemsWrite simple SQL queriesRead multiple system input/output files like XML, JSon, Flat, 834, 835Work with business analysts, business SMEs and developers to build detailed test cases

Qualifications5+ years experience in software QA with focus on manual and performance testing Experience in manual and automation testingBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experienceExperience in the healthcare industry, with knowledge of healthcare standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HL7)Proficiency in manual testing techniques and methodologies.Experience with Test Management tools such as Jira Zephyr, QTest, or similarExperience with both front-end and back-end web technologies (HTTP, AJAX, XML, Javascript, CSS)Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA or similarProficiency in Oracle SQL and understanding of database conceptsFamiliar with Oracle tools such as SQL DeveloperExperience with Linux operating systems, including command-line proficiency and shell scriptingExperience with ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loadingCertified AWS Cloud Practitioner a plus.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related experience and education. You will also be eligible for a variable pay opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package.
