We work on hero CAD products Fusion and Inventor. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The position will be responsible for releasing our software products with high level of quality. You will be involved in the entire software development life cycle, from requirements gathering and design to testing and release. You will work closely with software developers and other stakeholders to ensure that quality standards are met at every stage of development.
Responsibilities:
Analyze CD related change requests and specifications to create test cases, supplement and improve existing testing where applicable
Execute tests to find defects in features or products. Isolate and confirm defects and work with developers to prioritize defects and fix them
Validate the behavior of software on a variety of operating systems and hardware
Reviews defects from juniors & or team members making sure all-important info is present
Provide accurate evaluation of software quality and reliability
Participate in team meetings throughout the product development lifecycle. Work with the development team to proactively recognize and prevent issues from occurring
Develop automation testing tool, create automation testing case, monitor automated tests results and contribute to improve their coverage
Capable of having an in-depth technical discussion with developers on how component/feature/tool works & will proactively document for the outcome
Participate to all phases of the release activities, from alpha versions to product delivery
Minimum Qualifications:
BS or above degree in Computer Science related fields
Excellent written and oral English
At least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience with manual and automated testing
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Skill to leverage automation testing to improve test efficiency. Able to understand failures logs and report issues to correct stakeholder
Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Quick learning and applying new skillsets
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of software development project and lifecycle, familiar with agile development process
Experience in software installation testing on Windows and Mac OS
Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python and C#
Experience in Jenkins pipelines (Groovy scripting, PSL)
Understanding software delivery and related technologies
