We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement new systems and features, as well as modify and maintain existing systems for adaptation to business and/or technology changes. The Senior Software Engineer engages directly with IT management, development teams, and technical delivery teams to ensure the successful design, development, and delivery of technology-based solutions.

 

To be successful as a Senior Software Engineer, you should be able to drive the software change and release management processes, assisting with the overall maturity of the software development lifecycle. Ultimately, a top-notch Senior Software Engineer will ensure that software deliverables comply with quality standards and are completed on time.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Serve as a technical lead contributing to and directing the efforts of development teams, including internal and external team membersContribute to the ongoing evolution of the existing content supply portfolio of applications and servicesDesign, develop, modify, implement, and support software components anywhere in the software stackDetermine root cause for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutionsRemain current on new technologies and available vendor packages; evaluate and make recommendations as necessaryAssist in task planning, estimation, scheduling, and staffingMentor Software Engineers to allow for skill/knowledge development through advice, coaching, and training opportunitiesDetermine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processesWork in close partnership with cross-functional teams and managementComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

Graduate DegreeOverall 8+ years of experience6+ years experience with development life-cycle5+ years development experience with .NET/Java/JavaScript and Nodejs technologies in a professional environment2+ years development experience with SQLExpert knowledge with Web APIs and (REST) based communication; experience with API testing tools such as PostmanExperience with Git, Team Foundation Server or similar source control programsFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelinesSolid knowledge of Visual Studio and VB.NET, SQL Server and relational database modeling conceptsSolid knowledge of SQL Management Studio, Team Foundation Server or similar source control programsAbility to perform assigned software development tasks using established standards and procedures with minimal supervisionProven analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to meet scheduled task requirements within assigned deadlines

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as OpenAI, Google Gemini, or similarHands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)Familiarity with deploying and integrating AI/ML models into production systems
Experience with cloud-based AI services (e.g., Azure AI, AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI)Understanding of natural language processing (NLP) techniques and applicationsKnowledge of data engineering and model training pipelinesExposure to ethical AI practices and model evaluation techniques
