Job Description

What YOU’LL DO:

As a Senior Software Engineer – ServiceNow you will build enterprise‑grade operational capabilities across the ServiceNow platform. You will engineer high‑quality solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, automation, and integrations—improving the resilience and efficiency of H&M’s global technology operations.

Key Responsibilities

Design and enhance ServiceNow ITSM applications—Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, Catalog—using platform best practices.Build clean, scalable automation using GlideScript (Javascript), Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Flow Designer.Develop robust integrations ensuring secure data exchange, mapping, and error handling.Maintain and grow the CMDB, modeling CI classes, relationships, and supporting ITOM data quality.Strengthen platform reliability through structured upgrades, documentation, and governance aligned with ServiceNow best practices.Collaborate with global engineering and operations teams in an agile, product‑focused environment.Use generative AI predictive and machine‑learning‑powered capabilities (e.g., classification, prioritization, routing) to improve incident handling and operational decision‑making.

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for people with: 

5+ years of software engineering experience developing various full stack applications.Strong proficiency in Javascript, Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Policies, and Client Scripts.Hands‑on experience with Flow Designer and Integration Hub for automation across IT operations.Solid knowledge of CMDB fundamentals, CI modeling, and dependency mapping.Experience integrating with external systems via REST/SOAP, including authentication and structured error handling.Experience leveraging platform ML capabilities such as predictive intelligence or automated routing to improve ITSM workflows.Strong communication and collaboration skills across global teams.

Nice to have:

ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS‑ITSM, CIS‑ITOM).Exposure to AI/ML concepts in IT operations (pattern detection, anomaly identification, predictive insights).
