This role is located in our Austin, TX office and has a schedule of 4 days on-site and 1 day work from home. 

We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer with a focus on React web development.  As an awesome candidate, you will have multiple years of experience creating and maintaining highly performant React-based web applications that drive the growth of our Land.com business unit.  

Responsibilities:  

Create, support and maintain React-based web applications using React, Typescript, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, C# and SQL   

Analyze technical requirements and design new components, web pages and controls to meet functional, performance and availability requirements

Apply software design patterns, sound quality management methods, tools, and techniques to create and support defect-free application software that meets the needs of the organization with high reusability and maintainability  

Write thorough unit tests to ensure the quality of the software you own  

Develop database stored procedures and SQL scripts  

 

Basic Qualifications:   

Bachelor's degree from an accredited, not-for-profit University or college 

A track record of commitment to prior employers 

4+ years of development experience in production environment  

Expert knowledge of React  

Demonstrated knowledge of C#, JavaScript ES6 or Typescript 

Experience with software testing (Unit, Integration, Functional, Performance)  

Experience working within an Agile team environment  

Demonstrated knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns 

Ability to clearly communicate thoughts and ideas within and across teams 

Ability to work well with other developers and management 

Ability to juggle priorities and work with minimal supervision or assistance to complete tasks 

Preferred Qualifications:  

Deep understanding of React architecture and performance optimization

Deep experience architecting systems using C#, .NET Development  

Expert-level knowledge and experience using SQL  

Experience with Visual Studio or Azure DevOps or Git  

Experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch
