About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer

In this role, you will:

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environmentsContribute to large scale planning of strategiesDesign, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deploymentsReview moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and proceduresResolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goalsLead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in Java Full Stack, Java Springboot, Angular, Oracle / SQL Server, Kafka2+ years of experience in Automated testing frameworkExposure to GenAI tools, Agentic AIStrong written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical, debugging and problem solving skillsBanking Domain ExperienceDevelopment experience with Micro Services and Container orchestrationExperience with messaging services like KafkaCI/CD techniquesJIRA/Confluence ProficiencyKnowledge in TDD or BDD frameworks

Job Expectations:

Proficiency in Agile deliveryExperience in developing Web APIExperience in ETL & Reporting tools – SSIS, SSRS and TableauExperience with any Cloud frameworks (like, Azure, PCF, OCP, GCP)Experience with DevOps framework and Version control tools (Git, GitHub, Jenkins)Domain Knowledge in financial industry
