Senior Software Engineer - Java Full Stack, Capital Markets experience

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer


In this role, you will:

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environmentsContribute to large scale planning of strategiesDesign, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deploymentsReview moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and proceduresResolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goalsLead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff


Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in Java, J2EE Spring Boot, Micro ServicesExperience in JDK11+ is mustCloud based software development - AWS or AzureDomain experience in Capital Markets / Investment bankingMongoDB or other NoSQL databasesKafka or other event driven softwareKubernetesJunit, Selenium, Qmetry or other Automation frameworks that support BDD constructsTomcat Application Server, Netty or WeblogicMaven, Gradle or any other build frameworks


Job Expectations:

Individual Contributor role in Debt Capital Market technology team in IndiaDeliver technology solutions leveraging the suite of application in DCM areaCollaborate effectively with all the stakeholders including DCM business teams, technology, QA and support teamsFollow EASP process diligently during Production releasesEnsure CI/CD pipeline is enabled across the DCM suite of applications and followed diligentlyCoordinate well with the support team to ensure production outages are handled effectively within the stipulated SLAsLook for opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization of the DCM suite of applications
