We are seeking a skilled Software Development Integration Engineer with a focus on developing complex systems in C++, to join the Missile Defense & Surveillance Software team. In this role, you’ll support the Indirect Fire Protection Capability (IFPC) Increment 2 system onsite in Huntsville, AL. **What You Will Do:** + As part of the IFPC Software mission the successful candidate will provide a critical and versatile middle layer of defense against various threats. + Design, develop, and test software based on capability roadmaps in an agile, collaborative environment, delivering incremental builds. + Participate in agile execution and continuous improvement. + Work collaboratively with systems and Integration& Test engineers to analyze, implement, and test system modification requests to the existing system baseline. + Travel to a local customer site (up to 50%) for software build install and test, as needed. **Qualifications You Must Have:** + Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience. + Experience designing and developing in C / C++ Object-Oriented Programming languages. + Experience with Script languages (C shell, Perl). + Experience in scripting using Python or similar. + Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
