Taking your place as a core member of an agile team driving the latest development practicesWriting code and unit tests, working with API specs and automationIdentifying opportunities for adopting new technologiesLeading a team of engineers that delivers knowledge management solutions to businesses worldwidePerform hands-on design, and development of systemsParticipate in Solution management discussions to drive solutions for the Enterprise.Define a framework comprised of guidelines, processes, tools, and loosely coupled reusable componentsAbility to solution and implement onto the processes quickly for the team. Perform rapid Pilot/POCs to experiment various engineering optimization and inner-sourcing techniquesFunction as senior member of an agile team and helps drive consistent development practices w.r.t. tools, common components, and documentationAbility to identify cross functional architecture and engineering re-usable opportunitiesSupport engineers in rapid development and deployment by re-designing & revamping the current code base to more global, composable and modularized codeProvide guiding principles and partner with multi-functional product teams for proactive maintenance of the critical data assets owned by their respective business functionsLead data quality issue prevention and remediation; handle exceptions and issues on data quality and run remediation process activities with appropriate data stewards and governance bodies
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors in computer science or equivalent degree with minimum of 8+ years of work experience developing large scale applicationsHands on development experience of large-scale application development and workflows using Java (Core & Web Technologies), Spring and Frontend (React, Angular) and Node JS.Experience in using Relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL Oracle and NOSQL databases like Couchbase.Experience in development of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines using Jenkins or any equivalentHave excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interpret the business needs from the Product OwnersAble to learn new technologies and able to guide team to perform POCs using the new tech stackExperience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environmentFamiliar/Certified in Java (Oracle Certified) or other rapid application development methods.Looks proactively beyond the obvious for continuous improvement opportunities.High energy, demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies, and takes pride in how fast they develop working softwareSelf-starter with a strong affinity for driving changeDemonstrated decision-making skill and abilityDemonstrated thought leadership skills and ability to develop winning strategies
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in Enterprise Applications for banking sector.Understanding & hands-on w/ streaming services like Kafka, AWS.
