Responsibilities:Backend (70%) — Architect, build, and optimize high-performance APIs and backend services in Node.js (primary), with contributions in Python and GoLang.Work with MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and DynamoDB to design and tune data flows for speed and scalability.Tackle large-scale distributed system challenges — billions of events, massive datasets, and sub-second response times.Frontend (30%) — Build responsive, modern UIs using React, TypeScript, Tailwind, HTML/CSS to bring features to life.Collaborate across product, data, and design to deliver full-stack features from idea to deployment.Profile, debug, and optimize performance across the stack — no silos, no hand-offs.Contribute to architecture, code reviews, and technical decision-making.Requirements:5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record in backend/API development.Deep expertise in Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript) for backend systems.Strong experience with React, TypeScript, Tailwind, HTML/CSS for frontend work.Hands-on experience with at least one NoSQL database (MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or DynamoDB).Sharp problem-solving skills and the ability to figure things out fast.Familiarity with Python or GoLang (bonus if both).Comfortable working in a lean, fast-moving, Agile environment.Bonus: AWS experience and background in large-scale distributed systems.
