We’re looking for a visionary engineer to join Honeywell’s Space team in the Czech Republic, where innovation meets orbit. This is your chance to work on cutting-edge software for Quantum Key Distribution systems—technology that’s redefining secure communications in space and on Earth. In this role, you’ll be designing software architecture based on mission requirements and leading implementation efforts that directly support real-world aerospace projects. You’ll also contribute to the development of future space technologies, translating customer needs into product concepts, conducting trade studies, and shaping research proposals. Everyday 140,000 Honeywell air turbine starters bring to life commercial and military aircraft, industrial and marine equipment. **More sustainable travel, safer and more efficient flying and a focus on cutting-edge innovation.** + Perform design, development and testing of application software for Quantum Key Distribution systems in object-oriented languages + Decomposition of system requirements and architecture modification according to specific mission needs. UML modelling, API definition. + Support of the CI/ CD automation processes + Cooperation with V&V teams, support of V&V campaigns + Agile management of sprints, epics, stories and tasks. Code review. Documentation creation.
