Senior Software Engineer - Equity

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer.


In this role, you will:

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environmentsContribute to large scale planning of strategiesDesign, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deploymentsReview moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and proceduresResolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goalsLead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff


Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

Hands-on experience on .Net Core and .Net Framework experience (specifically C#, ASP.NET, MVC).Hands on experience on web development in JavaScript UI frameworks like Angular, ReactJSExpertise in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.Experience in working with Microsoft SQL, WPF, Entity Framework and ETLExperience working with cloud development like Azure, OCP (OpenShift Container Platform).Experience of exposure and knowledge on different DevOps tools on CI/CD process – TFS/SVN/GitHub, Jenkins, Harness, Blackduck, Checkmarx.In depth, practical experience with Cloud methodologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), microservices, orchestration etc...Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.Experience in Investment banking, Equity trading is added advantage.


Job Expectations:

Should have exposure to Cloud governance and logging/monitoring tools.Experience with Agile, CI/CD, DevOps concepts and SRE principles.Experience in scripting (Shell, Python)Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to articulate technical solutions to both technical and business audiencesAbility to deliver & engage with partners effectively in a multi-cultural environment by demonstrating co-ownership & accountability in a matrix structure.Delivery focus and willingness to work in a fast-paced, enterprise environment
