Who We Are

Join Mission Technologies in shaping the future of space warfare. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll lead development using AFSIM to simulate space control and multi-domain operations supporting U.S. defense strategy. Your work will drive digital training, force planning, and operational analysis across coalition environments. Based at Kirtland AFB with secure JWICS access, you'll guide teams and projects that safeguard national space capabilities. Final interview contingent on a technical coding assessment.

What You Will Do

•    Develop and integrate simulation frameworks, performance models, threat models, and command & control (C2) systems
•    Design software that replicates user and system behaviors to test real-world scenarios virtually
•    Create intuitive graphical user interfaces (GUIs) and interactive visualization tools
•    Model dynamic operational environments and conduct trade studies using simulation-based evaluations
•    Provide analytical support for decision-making across alternative system architectures
•    Perform in-depth operational and mission effectiveness analysis
•    Build and refine training models for immersive instructional experiences

What You Must Have

•    Bachelor’s degree with 9 years relevant experience
•    Master’s degree with 7 years relevant experience
•    PhD or Juris Doctorate with4 years relevant experience
•    High School Diploma or equivalent with 13 years relevant experience
•    Strong grasp of user experience design, information architecture, and accessibility standards
•    Proven problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail in fast-paced, agile environments
•    Proficient in C++, Python, and CMake
•    U.S. Citizenship and must have Top-Secret clearance.

Preferred Requirements

•    Proficiency in C#, AFSIM and Python desired.
•    Experience in US and Allied space enterprise position.
•    Three (3) years of software development project management experience.
•    Experience in deploying software and obtaining authorities to operate on SIPRNet.
