Position Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with expertise in Azure Integration Services and Databricks to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building ETL pipelines, integrating diverse data sources, and optimizing big data workloads in a cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop data integration solutions using Azure Integration Services (Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Service Bus, etc.).
• Build and optimize scalable data pipelines and workflows in Azure Databricks.
• Implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage strategies for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data models, data flows, and architecture best practices.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security policies are adhered to across all solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data pipelines for performance and reliability.
• Work with cross-functional teams to enable advanced analytics, machine learning, and reporting solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD practices for data integration and Databricks deployments.
Must-Have Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or integration roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Event Hub/Event Grid, and Service Bus.
• Proficiency in Azure Databricks – Spark, Delta Lake, notebooks, job clusters, and performance tuning.
• Experience with ETL/ELT design, data warehousing concepts, and big data technologies.
• Proficiency in SQL and one programming language (Python, Scala, or .NET).
• Solid understanding of Azure storage options (Data Lake, Blob Storage, SQL Database, Synapse).
• Experience with Git-based version control and DevOps pipelines.
• Knowledge of security and compliance in Azure environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in teams.
