Job Description As a valued colleague on our team, you will contribute to developing data infrastructure and pipelines to capture, integrate, organize, and centralize data while testing and ensuring the data is readily accessible and in a usable state, including quality assurance. *THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE * The Senior Software Engineer - AWS role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities: * Identify customer needs and intended use of requested data in the development of database requirements and support the planning and engineering of enterprise databases. * Maintain comprehensive knowledge of database technologies, complex coding languages, and computer system skills. * Support the integration of data into readily available formats while maintaining existing structures and govern their use according to business requirements. * Analyze new data sources and monitor the performance, scalability, and security of data. * Create an initial analysis and deliver the user interface (UI) to the customer to enable further analysis. *THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM* Required Experience * 4+ years Desired Experiences * Bachelor degree or equivalent * 10+ years industry experience Skills Ability to take ownership and drive issues to closure Should have worked in an Agile software development environment Business knowledge of market data and capital markets is strongly desired Ability to perform high complexity (i.e. system level applications) analysis, design, development, and unit testing of software applications from user requirements/stories and design documents. Resolve defects encountered during various testing cycles. Good understanding of matured complex applications and implement major/minor enhancements in a fast-paced dynamic work environment. Good communicator and someone who is able to work and deliver effectively individually as well as part of team. Tools Strong fundamentals of Object-Oriented Concepts Solid Core Java Expertise Solid Spring/Spring-Boot expertise Solid understanding of Relational Databases concepts and SQL queries Oracle, Postgres, Spring (Core, Boot, Batch Web etc.), Hibernate, AutoSys, Unix Platform (basic to intermediate scripting), Python Hands on experience in AWS tech stack - EC2, ECS, Step Functions, Lambda, CloudWatch (Events, Logs, Metrics), IAM, API Gateway, S3, SQS, SNS, SES, Kinesis, RDS, Elastic Cache, DynamoDB, Data Migration Service, Glue ETL, RedShift, Cloud Formation, VPC Hands on experience with Docker, ECS, EKS, Fargate Microservice Architecture and DevOps: CloudFormation (infrastructure as code), Auto Scaling Hands on experience in a CI/CD using Jenkins(pipeline as code), UCD, Terraform and build tools Gradle, ANT, Maven, Nexus, Hands on experience with SCM tools - GitLab, Bitbucket and project management tool - Jira, Rally Working knowledge of Oracle and Oracle stored procedures Working Knowledge of building reports in BI tools (MicroStrategy, Tableau) *Enterprise Data - Data Engineering - Senior Associate* *Target Pay Range: $* *121,000 - 158,000 a year* Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Level Degree (Required) The future is what you make it to be. Final salaries will generally vary within that range based on factors that include but are not limited to, skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant qualifications.
