Position Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Robot Framework, Python, and Selenium. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automation frameworks, ensuring software quality standards, and driving efficiency in test automation. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, database knowledge, and hands-on experience in software testing methodologies and accessibility standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Robot Framework, Python, and Selenium.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, automation workflows, and effort estimations.
• Ensure adherence to software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work with developers to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform Web Accessibility testing and ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
• Write optimized database queries for data validation, test automation, and backend verification.
• Monitor automation execution, analyze test results, and generate detailed reports.
• Participate in code reviews, framework improvements, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Work closely with the QA and development teams to improve overall product quality and performance
Preferred Qualifications:
• 4–6 years of proven experience in Robot Framework, Python, and Selenium.
• Strong understanding of test automation framework design and best practices.
• Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and accessibility testing.
• Strong expertise in database concepts – query optimization, indexing, statistics, isolation levels, and integrity checks.
• Hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines and integration with automation frameworks.
• Good knowledge of Web Accessibility standards (WCAG/Section 508).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Excellent team collaboration, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
