Job Responsibilities :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving innovation and excellence in software development. This role involves overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software solutions, ensuring they meet the company's objectives and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test and deploy payment gateway applications and modules using LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP) technologiesIntegrate payment channels such as credit/debit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and others payment gatewayDesign and implement APIs for payment processing and ensure proper documentation and maintenance of the APIsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions that meet those requirementsWork with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure seamless integration of payment systemsTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to payment processing, including transaction failures, chargebacks, and refundsDevelop and implement security protocols to ensure the safe and secure processing of payments and protect sensitive dataMentor and provide technical guidance to junior developersContinuously updating knowledge of new technologies and industry trends to ensure the software applications are up-to-date and competitiveOther duties as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP)Extensive experience in developing web applications using the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP) and related technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQueryStrong understanding of software development best practices and design patternsExperience with Agile development methodologiesExperience with Laravel frameworkExperience with Git development toolExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teamsAbility to create project timelines, estimate project tasks and resources, and track progressAbility to troubleshoot and debug complex software applicationsStrong analytical skills and ability to break down problems and find solutions

Pre-Requisites :

A Senior Software Engineer is responsible for leading the development team as they create technical solutions for the company. They serve as an in-house expert, both for managers from other departments who need technical solutions and the less experienced staff within the IT department. The Senior Software Engineer will develop information systems by studying operations; designing, developing and installing software solutions; support and develop software team. They will lead a team of developers responsible for building new and support existing payment systems.
