You'll have... 

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.   3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:  1. REST API to ensure that data and services are available internally and externally via the internet. 2. JavaScript to implement real-time collaboration features for web. 3. Cascading Stylesheets (CSS) to implement layout styling of web applications. 4. Continuous Integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure that changes are incorporated into shipping software and deployed correctly. 5. Debugging software using an interactive debugger, including Xcode/IntelliJ, to triage and reproduce client/server issues. 6. Translating design requirements into functional specifications. 7. Using C++, C#, Java, or Python programming languages to implement scalable stateful web services and client-side business logic. 8. Leverage Test-Driven Development and Clean Code Concepts. 9. IBM BAW tool to create Business Process and Sub Process.

We are offering a salary of $138,486.00 - $176,800.08/yr.

What you’ll be able to do: 

Senior Software Engineer - positions offered by Ford Motor Credit Company LLC (Dearborn, Michigan). Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the Dearborn office. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from Dearborn, MI. Validate and release applications using continuous integration and continuous delivery tools. Work in a collaborative environment including pairing and mobbing with other cross-functional engineers. Work on a small agile team to deliver working, tested software. Work effectively with product owners, product designers and other technical experts. Lead Technical design discussions for large enhancements. Take time to continuously learn and share with peers. Act as a mentor for less-experienced peers and advocate for technical excellence. Develop exceptional user experiences with backend APIs using frameworks such as Spring Boot, Angular, React, and NodeJS. Ensure code and security compliance leveraging tools such as SonarQube, Check Marx, 42Crunch. Perform technology modernizations as required such as migrating to specific platforms, leveraging new build tools and modernizing data bases. Participate in application support rotations and manage incidents applying corrective actions.
