Make a difference.** Join BAE Systems Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) group in Hudson, New Hampshire as part of the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) team supporting the Compass Call program. As a mid-career Software Engineer, you will develop and maintain the tools, frameworks, and test environments that ensure the reliability and performance of the Compass Call prime mission equipment (PME) software. Your work will directly enable successful production selloff, helping deliver advanced electronic warfare capabilities that keep our warfighters safe and effective. **What You ll Do** + Design, develop, and maintain high quality, **real-time, embedded software** using C , C, Rust, and MATLAB within a Linux environment + Build and integrate **test frameworks and automation tools** for embedded mission software + Collaborate with Systems, Hardware, and Mission Software teams to **diagnose, debug, and verify** complex software on target hardware + Apply **Agile and DevSecOps practices** using CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated test environments + Generate and execute **automated integration and regression tests** with focus on zero-defects + Develop and maintain **test and design documentation** in accordance with established processes + Analyze and evaluate complex software designs to identify and resolve potential flaws early At BAE Systems, we promote a collaborative culture where engineers are trusted, supported, and empowered to make an impact. As part of the GSE team, you ll: + Play a key role in delivering mission-critical software test environments + Solve complex technical challenges with a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team + Advance your career through training, mentorship, and exposure to advanced defense technologies + Enjoy a flexible 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off This is a full-time, onsite role at our Hudson, NH facility, offering the chance to make a lasting impact on one of BAE Systems most strategic defense programs. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Active Secret clearance + Bachelor s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field + 4 years of professional software development experience + Proficiency in object-oriented programming (C ) + Experience developing in Linux environments + Hands on experience with software written in C and GUI frameworks + Working knowledge of communication interfaces, protocols, IP networking, and message architectures + Experience performing and leading software testing, validation and verification activities + Strong debugging, problem-solving, and collaborative skills **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Active Top Secret Clearance + CompTIA Security Certification + Experience with Rust, MATLAB, and/or C + Scripting experience in Python, BASH, or others + Experience with hardware integration (low-level interfaces to RF receivers) + Familiarity with real-time embedded systems, RF communications, and/or counter-radar electronic warfare + Hands-on experience with Agile methods, version control and collaboration tools (Git, Atlassian), and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
