**About this role:** Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer. **In this role, you will:** + Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments + Contribute to large scale planning of strategies + Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments + Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures + Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements + Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals + Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff **Required Qualifications:** + 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education **Desired Qualifications:** + Strong hands-on experience in Designing, developing and maintaining Distributed streaming applications using **Java, J2EE, Spring frame works.** + Design and develop custom solutions, plugins, and workflows within the Calypso platform + Customize Calypso for various business modules: front office, middle-office or back-office functions + Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications + Integrate Calypso with internal and external systems. + Maintain and enhance Calypso configuration (products, workflows, engines, messaging, and reports) + Work closely with QA teams to support testing and validation + Troubleshoot technical issues and provide production support for Calypso environments + Participate in upgrades, patching, and system performance tuning + Good knowledge of SQL, Oracle, Unix, Linux, Shell scripts, batch scripts + Understanding of CICD tools like Jenkins and Udeploy + Knowledge of Calypso upgrade process + Strong knowledge of capital markets products: FX, Rates, Fixed Income, Credit Derivatives, Repos, OTC Derivatives will be added advantage. + Good to have: OpenShift, Kafka, Kubernetes, Automation frameworks **Job Expectations:** + Good knowledge and exposure of **front to back trade life cycle events** **for Fixed income Trading** and primarily on Asset backed finance. + Good Communication and presentation skills + Manage multiple Jira items and ownership of post-production delivery. + Drive and own story/feature with all SDLC processes. **Posting End Date:** 21 Aug 2025 **_*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants._** **We Value Equal Opportunity** Wells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
