Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Software Engineer located in Salt Lake City, UT. This is a fully onsite role. The contract is 3-6 months (extendable). The candidate will start asap. Duties Include: * Targeting the ranges indicated below, with hard ceilings: Market is soft; Roles are scoped and short-term, so speed matters * Integrate COTS end effectors and other hardware peripherals into Palladyne IQ * Implement device drivers/adapters and a clean hardware abstraction for grippers/vacuum, tool changers, and I/O * Bring-up and debug hardware/firmware interfaces; Define wiring maps and communication timing * Add configuration, status, and error reporting hooks for IQ UI/telemetry * Write automated bench tests and HIL tests; Document bring-up and field install steps * Support shop-floor trials and acceptance testing with customers
