**Overview**
Come and join the **Intuit Data Exchange** team as a Senior Software Engineer. We are a rapidly growing data platform, connecting to over 20K data providers across the world, with billions of transactions imported per year. We power Intuit’s market leading products like QuickBooks, TurboTax and Credit Karma. We’re looking for a passionate Software Engineer with strong full stack experience and in this role, you will partner with engineering and design teams to build new data domains, develop simple 1-click user experiences, design low code tools for developers, craft innovative methods to improve data quality, and create a platform that fuels the AI transformation of fintech.
**What you'll bring**
+ BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
+ 5+ years experience developing web, software applications
+ Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals and their practical application
+ Experience with the following Object Oriented Languages (OOD): Java/J2EE, Spring, Web Services, Oracle, Dynamo and AWS and functional programming languages Javascript/React
+ An understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
+ An understanding and preferable experience with REST/GraphQL APIs
+ An understanding of unit testing, Test Driven Development (TDD), functional testing and performance
+ "Self-starter"" attitude and ability to make decisions independently
+ Helpful, can-do attitude and a willingness to take ownership of problems
+ Strong desire to learn and grow
+ Excellent problem solving skills with a history of superb delivery against assigned tasks
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Outstanding partnership skills
**How you will lead**
+ Successful delivery of high quality web services and backend systems software (requirements, design, code, documentation, etc.)
+ Roughly 80-95% hands-on coding
+ Contribute to full lifecycle quality and engineering activities, including peer reviews of estimates, designs and code
+ Partner effectively with all team members in the organization to deliver against commitments
+ Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management, various product lines, or business units to drive forward results
+ Commitment to team success and positive team dynamics
+ Passion for growing and applying technical skills in service to customers
+ Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, and/or Extreme Programming methodologies
_Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is:_
Bay Area California $165,500 - $223,500
