The role

HelloTech’s Food Systems team powers the sourcing engine behind our recipes—ensuring the right ingredients reach the right place at the right time. As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in migrating users from our legacy forecasting solution while maintaining a high standard of support and stability for existing systems.

You’ll help shape the future of demand forecasting by building new systems, prototyping innovative solutions, and working closely with both local ANZ users and global stakeholders. This is a highly collaborative role in a fast-moving environment that values speed, learning, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do Maintain and support the existing forecasting platform, handling bug fixes and minor enhancements. Lead and support the migration of users to new forecasting solutions. Build and present proof-of-concepts (POCs) and drive the development of new forecasting tools. Contribute across the stack—front-end and back-end—where your expertise is needed most. Work closely with users and teams to onboard and support the adoption of new systems. What you’ll bring

Technical Skills

Full-stack proficiency: Hands-on experience with Vue or React, TypeScript, and Python. Kotlin or Java experience is a plus. Database expertise: Familiarity with Redis, and PostgreSQL. Infrastructure & DevOps: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions). Knowledge of Terraform is highly desirable. Microservices mindset: Strong understanding of distributed systems and service-oriented architecture.
Background in supply chain, logistics, or food tech domains. (Bonus points)
