**Minimum qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. + 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming language. + 3 years of experience with full stack development with back-end such as Java, Python, GO. + 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture. **Preferred qualifications:** + Experience with databases like SQL and NoSQL. + Experience with database migrations. + Experience with distributed systems. + Experience with Application programming interface (API) design and implementation. + Experience with data-pipelines orchestration. + Knowledge of software engineering principles with the ability to work in codebases and architecture. Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems. **Responsibilities:** + Make sure the data flowing between source databases and Datastream is accurate and consistent by designing, building, and maintaining change data capture (CDC) sources for MySQL and SQL Server. + Develop fault-tolerant sources that guarantee maximum uptime and seamless operation even in the phase of unexpected issues and load spikes. + Write clean, well-structured code, uphold strict testing standards, and promote best practices for efficient and maintainable source development. + Lead and provide guidance on all technical aspects of development including requirements definition, design, implementation, testing, integration, and monitoring.
