We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer who is passionate about building innovative payment solutions, wants to shape products where their feedback truly matters, and thrives in a fun, social, and collaborative environment where straight talk and continuous learning are valued.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Manager, Software Development.

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

Design, develop and maintain new products and integrations that enhance our vendor dashboard and payment capabilities

Build robust backend services (70%) using Node.js and TypeScript, and responsive frontend interfaces (30%) using React

Have significant input on architectural decisions and implementation approaches for greenfield projects

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning

Manage cloud infrastructure and deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices in Azure

Implement secure authentication and authorization flows using OAuth providers

Mentor developers and conduct knowledge transfer sessions as the team grows

Collaborate directly with stakeholders to shape product direction based on your technical expertise

Write clean, testable code following best practices and participate in code reviews

Stay current with industry trends and introduce new tools and practices to improve our development process

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

5+ years of experience in full stack development with a focus on building scalable applications

Academic/technical background (bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical/analytical field)

5+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem: Node.js for backend services and React for frontend development

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar) on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

Experience implementing OAuth flows and working with OAuth providers (Auth0, FusionAuth, or similar)

Working knowledge of SQL databases

Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence)

Previous experience in fintech or enterprise environments is a strong asset

Experience with staying current with development trends (you read tech blogs, follow industry news, and experiment with new tools)

Genuinely curious about new technologies and eager to share knowledge with the team (is considered an asset)

Excited about having real influence on product direction and technical decisions (is considered an asset)

Ability to thrive in social, collaborative environments where ideas flow freely (is considered an asset)
