Senior Software Compliance Analyst

ADP is hiring a Senior Software Compliance Analyst.

As Senior Software Compliance Analyst, you will work with ADP Global Procurement teams & internal requestors to review and reconcile data gaps within new and existing software purchase records that will be used to create and import entitlement data into the our Software Asset Management tool.  You will manage license key assignment and distribution for specific software vendors and have responsibility over monitoring and reporting overall license positions across our vendor footprint.  You will also be responsible for managing the license key collection process for new software purchases.

In this role you will look for opportunities to improve the existing processes to provide a better experience to the end users as it relates to software licenses acquisition and management.  With this responsibility comes the opportunity to proactively detect any compliance/financial risks for ADP, and to identify opportunities for savings.  

Daily, you will work with IT to validate active licenses for associates, assist IT with the data needed to package software requests and work with contract managers and buyers within Procurement to ensure all incoming software purchases contain accurate and complete data before importing into ADP’s Software Asset Management tool.  Additionally, you will help support business unit finance teams with reporting to help identify current spending or future licensing needs with respect to specific vendors.

Integrity, attention to detail and a strategic/analytical mindset are must-haves in this job. Challenges may present themselves through vendor audits/certifications, data issues and license allocations. Organizational skills, the ability to problem solve and being a good communicator are necessary to be effective in this role.

What you’ll do:

 

Minimize software licensing risk and cost. You will work independently and collaboratively with various teams to review and validate daily software purchasing records to ensure they align with the total licenses being utilized by the organization.

Ensure completeness and accuracy of data. You will not only review purchasing records daily for complete licensing data, but also monitor data feeds between ADP’ Software Asset Management tool (Service Now) and the systems which provide it license deployment data.

Collaborate Daily. You will serve as a trusted advisor and partner to your internal partners by responding to daily licensing requests and/or questions while demonstrating the highest ethical standards.

Experience. You have 5+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.

 

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

2+ years of Software Asset Management or software procurement experience 2+ years of recent experience working within a Procurement, Compliance, or IT Department Intermediate MS Excel experience Experience with ServiceNow Experience with Ariba Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work autonomously as well as cross-functionally with other teams including, Legal, Product Development, IT, and Finance.

 

 Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ServiceNow SAM Module. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $59,100.00 - $120,200.00 / Year
