Job Description

Are you ready to spearhead social commerce strategies for one of our billion-dollar brands? As the Senior Social Commerce Manager, you will identify and capitalize on business opportunities while collaborating with a multi-functional team to develop cohesive commercial plans. Your role will focus on leading initiatives that leverage social media platforms, eCommerce, and digital marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive sales. You'll be expected to work closely with various subject matter experts to deliver comprehensive strategies that address consumer needs and shopping behaviors.

Your Team

You will report directly to the Brand Director for the Category or Business Unit. Collaboration will be key, as you will work extensively with colleagues from Consumer Market Knowledge, Sales, Communications, Finance, and Digital Marketing teams.

Achieve Scorecard Business Targets aligned with the Business Unit's goals.

Drive category growth, enhance market penetration, and attract new users through innovative social commerce strategies.

Design and implement effective marketing toolkits tailored for social commerce channels.

Responsibilities of the Role

Social Commerce Strategy: Own the Integrated Social Commerce Plan, developing and executing strategies that align with key projects and initiatives to drive brand growth and profitability. Manage P&L investment decisions to optimize returns.

Digital Transformation: Develop and implement an integrated digital action plan focusing on social media engagement, eCRM, digital advertising (including personalization and retargeting), search, and eCommerce initiatives.

Consumer Insights: Identify and analyze consumers’ needs and preferences for P&G’s products, providing actionable insights to the Research & Development and technical teams to design appealing packages and formulas that resonate with local consumers.

Research Leadership: Lead consumer research initiatives to create compelling brand concepts and claims that address unmet consumer needs, ensuring alignment with brand messaging.

Creative Collaboration: Work with creative agencies to develop culturally relevant communication ideas and execute tailored content for various social media platforms.

Toolkit Development: Create fit-for-purpose toolkits that include copy, digital banners, social media content, eCommerce materials, sampling trials, and in-store activation strategies.

Collaboration with R&D: Partner with the R&D and technical teams to design packaging and formulas that meet local market demands while maintaining cost efficiency.

Promotion and Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with local trade teams to formulate effective promotion and pricing strategies, along with customer and distributor trade terms.

Job Qualifications

Undergraduate/Master's Degree in a business-related field.

4-7 years of proven experience in social commerce, brand management, digital media, consulting, or consumer journey design.

Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving innovation and brand growth.

Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team environment.

A forward-thinking mindset with a passion for leveraging social media and digital marketing to enhance brand presence and consumer engagement.
