And we do it all with heart, each and every day. **Position Summary** As a Senior Security Operations Center Engineer, you will be responsible for providing the top talent level for analysis and determination of malicious activity. This role will provide training and support to Jr and Sr level analysts and act as the last line of review before escalation to the Response team. This role will also require the creation and maintenance of SOP’s and other department documents, the review of other analysts’ work, as well as other duties. **Required Qualifications** + 5+ total years of experience in either an IT Help Desk or SOC style role. + 2+ years of experience with networking concepts & protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, HTTPS, VPN, etc.) + 2+ years of experience with various identity and access management / authentication concepts and technologies **Preferred Qualifications** + Problem-Solving: Software development is largely about solving problems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. + Communication: Effective communication is crucial for collaborating with team members, clients, and stakeholders. + Teamwork: Most software projects are team efforts. Adaptability to new technologies and methodologies is important. + Time Management: The ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines is crucial. + Self-Learning: Software developers need to be constantly learning and staying up-to-date with new technologies. + Ability to collect data from disparate systems in order to correlate and perform data analysis + Provide evidence of or obtain one or more certifications, including but not limited to Network+, Security+, CySA+, CCSP, CCSK, GCIH, GCIA, GCFE, GREM, GCFA, GSEC, CEH, CISSP, AWS, Blue Team Level 1 or 2, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer or equivalent **Education** + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience) **Anticipated Weekly Hours** 40 **Time Type** Full time **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $92,700.00 - $185,400.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
