Roles and Responsibilities:
Area(s) of responsibility will primarily serve Inspection Services processes, procedures, and guidelines to include but not be limited to executing internal project management for product developmentThe role will also integrate with the Outage and Inspection Services Project Management Specialist on best practices/alignment of continuous improvement efforts as they pertain to Services product developmentUtilize established project management standard work practices to track and report on internal product development for Inspection Services (To include delivery of projects to established cost/schedule thresholds while upholding agreed upon scope/deliverables)Update and maintain relative areas of the Inspection Services Internal Project Funnel for integrated strategyInterface with Product Line Leaders, Product Technical Experts, and Customers on technological needs and best practices to guide value-added product developmentIntegrate with engineering operations via PMO-established project management standard work to guide product developmentInterface with Plant Services Plant Engineer to streamline product development approaches and mitigate risk in our technological offeringPerform transition planning for developed products to assimilate operationally; Commercial offering, product life-cycle timeline/resource training management by Product Line LeadersProvide technical direction and guidance for first-time delivery of newly developed/modified products of higher risk on customers' site/propertyInterface with customers during first-time delivery of newly developed/modified productsEnsure project metrics are met while delivering agreed upon procedural expectations internally or contractual expectations for customersParticipation in facilitating the continuous improvement of processes/associated tools relating to the delivery of internal projects supporting product deliveryRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline with a minimum of 3-5 years of Project/Program Management experience-OR-
High school diploma/GED with a minimum of 5-7 years of Project/Program Management experienceExperience in Services Tooling Development with a minimum of 2 years of integration with engineering processes and project managementEligibility Requirements:
Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the timeAbility and willingness to support two customer outages per year (1 Spring, 1 Fall) as product development warrantsAbility and willingness to pass Fitness-for-Duty requirements and site security requirements to obtain and maintain unescorted access and US and International Nuclear Plant SitesAbility and willingness to work in radiation-controlled areas and radioactively contaminated areasAbility and willingness to work 12 hours a day, 7 days per week when delivering field projectsThis position is based at our headquarters in Wilmington, NC. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 10/10/2025.
