We are looking for a Senior ServiceNow Developer who wants to evolve toward a Solution Architect role.
This position is ideal for an experienced developer who enjoys technical leadership, solution design, and progressively taking architectural responsibilities on the ServiceNow platform.
You will work closely with Solution Architects, Technical Leads, and business stakeholders, contributing both to hands-on development and solution design, while being supported in your career progression toward architecture.
Development & Technical Excellence
• Design, develop, and customize solutions on the ServiceNow platform (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or other modules).
• Build scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions following ServiceNow best practices.
• Develop workflows, business rules, integrations, UI components, and automation.
• Perform code reviews and ensure high-quality technical delivery.
Architecture Exposure & Growth
• Participate in solution design discussions and technical architecture reviews.
• Collaborate with architects on end-to-end solution design.
• Contribute to technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and design specifications.
• Gradually take ownership of technical decisions within projects.
Collaboration & Leadership
• Act as a technical reference for developers and project teams.
• Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and architects to translate requirements into solutions.
• Support platform evolution, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development.
• Strong hands-on expertise with:
o ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API)
o Workflows / Flow Designer
o Integrations (REST, SOAP)
o Data model and CMDB concepts
• Solid understanding of ServiceNow architecture fundamentals.
• Experience working in enterprise environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Motivation to grow into a Solution Architect role.
Nice to Have / Advantage
• Experience participating in solution or technical architecture design.
• ServiceNow certifications (e.g.:
o Certified System Administrator (CSA)
o Certified Application Developer (CAD)
o Implementation Specialist
o Certified Technical Architect – CTA (or in progress)
• Experience with multi-module implementations.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, integrations, or DevOps practices.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80.000–$155,000 This role is an a future opportunity.
